"Double" [panoramic] postcard with a black and white view up a wintry-looking Wissahickon Creek, locaton unknown but perhaps in the vicinity of Kitchen's Lane/ Allen's Lane. Printed in black at top is "P.A-334 On the Wissahickon, Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, Pa." Verso: "By the Rotograph Co., N.Y. City, (Germany.)." The postcard was apparently mailed in an envelope, with a message written on reverse. This is the exact same photo as shown on the front of 2023.31.190a-b, but in black and white. |
