Series of seven stereoviews showing the bridge/ road/ mill "complex" created by the presence of the bridges over the Wissahickon Creek at Ridge Avenue and that of the Philadelphia, Germantown and Norristown Railroad [P.G. and N., later the Reading Railroad] and the Robeson's Mills. .115 View of the P.G. and N. railroad bridge, as seen from below the Ridge Avenue Bridge looking upstream. Recto, printed in borders: "Woodward & Albie, Publishers, Rochester, N.Y. Wissahickon Creek Pa." At base of left photo is "Wissahickon Creek Above Ridge Avenue." .116 The "complex" as seen from near the mouth of the Wissahickon. Printed in each border- a list of places represented by stereoviews, with "The Wissahickon, Philad'a" printed at base of right photo. .117 A similar view to that shown in .116. View on the Wissahickon at Ridge Avenue." .120 An unusual view of the western portion of the bridges, with building visible at left. This building is rarely photographed and isn't visible in the other photos in this series. Recto, printed in border: "On the Wissahickon, near Philadelphia." Stamped/ impressed at right is "Langenheim." Verso: printed label with "Langenheim's American Stereoscopic Views. Entered according to Act of Congress in 1858." .121 View of the Robeson "complex," with man sitting on rock in foreground, view up Wissahickon Creek. Recto, printed in borders: "A. H. Hemple, N.E.
