Notes |
The folder associated with this record contains photographs obtained by the Chestnut Hill Local, for publication in its weekly newspaper. Captions are available for those photographs eventually published; some were published multiple times over the course of years. These captions are included with the photos, when available. However, many of these "headshot" photographs were never published and in quite a number of cases, the subject of a photo's relevance to Chestnut Hill and the surrounding area is unclear, with many photographs bearing only the name of person shown in the photograph. These were included in this collection to ensure that the full breadth and depth of our community and those who lived, worked, shopped, relaxed, and worshipped here is documented. |
