One of two stereoviews showing the Red Covered Bridge over the Wissahickon Creek. This bridge would be replaced by the Blue Stone Bridge in the 1890s. A mill building is visible at the right. Recto, in borders: "James Cremer, Photographer and Publisher, 18 South Eighth Street, Philadelphia." Verso, handwritten, in ink: "503 The Wissahickon at Rittenhouse Mill." Also includes a printed history of the Fairmount Water Works and Park. |
