Title Trollope Minutes
Notes A group of women in Chestnut Hill met for lunch and to discuss books by Trollope. They called themselves the "Trollope Sisters". They began in 1916. The donor's mother, Anna Price Johnson Scull (1881 - approx. 1961) was a member. Also a member was the donor's aunt, Louise Morgan (1882 or 3 - c. 1963). Mrs. Frazier Harris was involved (Virginia Johnston). Others: Janet Cuyler Newlin, Rebecca Willing Pepper, Dorothy Falcon Platt, Marion Sims Rosengarten (who lived in Radnor at Chanticleer with her husban, Alfred. Chanticleer is now a public garden and there is a book giving its history which mentions the Trollope Club. Alfred Rosengarten ran the chemical firm "Powers, Weightman & Rosengarten", now Merck.)
